然而，存储后端Whisper目前并不适合我们，因为它的磁盘预分配功能。我们运行基于云的架构，其中我们的应用程序会大量更改主机/ip，由于我们希望主机作为每个指标的一部分，因此Whisper db增长迅速。
我应该如何设置Graphite/Whisper来处理这种情况？我也尝试过寻找Whisper的替代品，但没有什么特别之处。有很多关于其他存储引擎的讨论和半途而废的解决方案，但没有一个看起来成熟并提供可靠的Graphite集成。
