getCanonicalHostName正在返回不合格的名称

我有一些主机返回InetAddress.getLocalHost().getCanonicalHostName()(Documented here)的非限定名称，例如"foo“而不是"foo.example.com”。是什么导致了这个问题?我该如何修复它？
