我是MariaDB ColumnStore的首席软件工程师。

ColumnStore针对大型数据集进行了优化,并为列预先分配了磁盘空间。这样做的好处是,在磁盘轴上出现碎片的可能性较小。缺点是像您这样的小型数据集,它分配了大量未使用的空间。

它首先为第一个列区预分配256KB,然后将其扩展到2^23行(略高于800万行)。因此,对于每个BIGINT列,它将预分配64MB,对于INT,它将预分配32MB。压缩/解压之间的细微差别在于它对于压缩文件上的头块。我们有一些information_schema表可以显示您的实际使用情况(在8KB以内):

因此,除非您计划使用更大的数据集(至少在几GB范围内),否则很不幸,当数据很少时,您将看到大量的磁盘使用量。
