需要帮助解决那些不断崩溃的问题

Ubuntu21.10桌面，AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6 GHz)，64 GB内存

无论是Wayland还是Wayland，我都有这个问题。

所有崩溃情况下常见的是Firefox (默认的Snap )。有时候只有Firefox会崩溃，但有时会让我的整个系统崩溃。有时我会看到Firefox崩溃报告屏幕，有时我会出现在Ubuntu登录屏幕上，有时系统会冻结到只有硬复位才能工作的地步。

我在Firefox中找到了“关于:崩溃”的页面，刚刚发现最近两周左右的崩溃报告没有提交，所以我现在提交了所有这些。

当我查看/var/log/syslog时，我看到了太多我不明白的东西，但是如果有人能告诉我要找什么，我会很高兴地发帖子。

您在12/10/20中有一个较旧的BIOS版本1.70，还有一个更新的BIOS，即8/5/21版本的2.20，可以下载这里。

注意:在更新BIOS之前有很好的备份。

vm.swappiness

使用64G RAM，您可以通过调整vm.swappiness来减少交换，并加快操作速度。

• 编辑/etc/sysctl.conf
• 添加vm.swappiness=10 (在文件末尾)
• sudo sysctl -p (或重新启动)

Memtest (在BIOS更新之后执行此操作)

转到https://www.memtest86.com/并下载/运行他们的免费memtest来测试您的内存。在所有4/4测试中至少通过一次，以确认良好的记忆力。这可能需要几个小时才能完成。

更新#1:

火狐

• 开放Ubuntu Software
• 搜索"Firefox“
• 你会发现两个列出的版本，一个快照版本，和一个标准.deb版本.

• 安装标准.deb版本
• 退出Ubuntu Software
• 启动Firefox并重新测试崩溃

• 我们删除了所有主题/图标和不必要的扩展。

• 从Firefox SNAP切换到标准. .deb/repo Firefox
