双4k监视器-一次只能工作一个，尽管两者都可以被发现。

我最近购买了几台4k显示器，用于我的带有码头的Thinkpad P51s安装程序。我以前使用了两个1080 p监视器，没有任何问题，通过DisplayPort => HDMI连接器从码头=>监视器。

现在，通过DisplayPort => DisplayPort连接到监视器，两者都可以被发现(并在引导期间亮起)，但是Ubuntu在Ubuntu引导到登录屏幕后只使用其中一个。

它们都可以在Ubuntu20.04中发现，并且我可以制作任何一个主显示器，但是即使我将第二个主显示器配置为次要的，也只有主显示器。

唯一的物理变化是码头(我有完全相同的型号，但我把另一个放在不同的工作站)和引进了4k显示器在60赫兹，而不是1080 p监视器在较小的频率(~30赫兹)。

我该如何解决这个问题？

在进一步研究了VXDguy的S建议之后，我发现我能够让双显示器工作在1080 px60 4k或4kx30 4k。更多的研究得出了答案：

我的90W联想40A2码头的P51s有双DisplayPort 1.2。显然，DisplayPort 1.4是需要运行双4k x 60赫兹。

我计划现在满足于2Kx60Hz的妥协，最终升级到一个拥有两个DisplayPort 1.4端口的机械码头的新联想。

VXDguy的S回答是成功的。我把一条USB => DP电缆直接从我的笔记本电脑插到显示器上，另一根DP => DP电缆从码头插上。请注意，这样做后真的很滞后。

我做了两件事，其中一件似乎解决了这个问题：

1. 将DP => DP电缆插入另一个码头端口(码头上有两个DP端口)。
2. 由于某种原因，显示菜单上有两个“60 to”选项，从顶部选择第二个似乎有帮助。
