我最近购买了几台4k显示器,用于我的带有码头的Thinkpad P51s安装程序。我以前使用了两个1080 p监视器,没有任何问题,通过DisplayPort => HDMI连接器从码头=>监视器。
现在,通过DisplayPort => DisplayPort连接到监视器,两者都可以被发现(并在引导期间亮起),但是Ubuntu在Ubuntu引导到登录屏幕后只使用其中一个。
它们都可以在Ubuntu20.04中发现,并且我可以制作任何一个主显示器,但是即使我将第二个主显示器配置为次要的,也只有主显示器。
唯一的物理变化是码头(我有完全相同的型号,但我把另一个放在不同的工作站)和引进了4k显示器在60赫兹,而不是1080 p监视器在较小的频率(~30赫兹)。

我使用的是X.Org X服务器-- xserver的Noveau显示驱动程序--视频-nouveau(开放源码),但改用了(来自nvidia-driver-470 (专有的,经过测试))。

在进一步研究了VXDguy的S建议之后,我发现我能够让双显示器工作在1080 px60 4k或4kx30 4k。更多的研究得出了答案:
我的90W联想40A2码头的P51s有双DisplayPort 1.2。显然,DisplayPort 1.4是需要运行双4k x 60赫兹。
我计划现在满足于2Kx60Hz的妥协,最终升级到一个拥有两个DisplayPort 1.4端口的机械码头的新联想。
VXDguy的S回答是成功的。我把一条USB => DP电缆直接从我的笔记本电脑插到显示器上,另一根DP => DP电缆从码头插上。请注意,这样做后真的很滞后。
