我发现了问题。我不得不将格式设置为自定义。

我用了dconf-editor，然后去了org/mate/panel/objects/clock/prefs/。我将格式设置为“定制”，自定义格式设置为%a %b %d %Y %I:%M %p。

注意:如果你不小心删除了你的面板，你可以再次这样做。
