在使用Emacs多年来，我从来没有用它的电子邮件。总是认为它是一个非常复杂的系统来做它(更不用说电子邮件是一个太复杂的系统做消息，但这是不同的抱怨)。现在，当第一次使用Gnus并将其连接到GMail时，收件箱中出现的电子邮件没有顺序或顺序到达。例如，一条来自大约2年前的消息出现在列表的首位，另一条出现在上周，而今天收到的一堆消息根本没有加载。

不幸的是，我的X服务器实验做得太过火了.我需要掩盖不可能开始的时刻.:)

我怀疑信息的选择可能会受到“状态”或某种优先级GMail的影响，因为它的机器思维正在为这些信息分配--显然是错误的。如果我的猜测是正确的，那么是否可以重写此行为，以相同的顺序加载消息？这对我有很大帮助。提前感谢！

将消息编入索引的顺序由服务器(gmail)控制，而不是由Emacs/Gnus控制。我想，在为大量消息优化服务器时，Google打破了惯例，不再按顺序分配文章编号。唯一的解决办法是下载所有的标题，这样Gnus就可以根据日期或任何您的偏好进行排序。如果你的收件箱里有很多邮件，你可能想先清理一下收件箱。

看看Gnus手册中的此页。基本上，Gnus默认按项目编号进行排序。对于我来说，这几乎一直都是约会订单，但也许你的GMail邮件发生了一些奇怪的事情--你从另一个邮件服务器导入它们了吗？(我不知道-我只是猜)

(setq gnus-thread-sort-functions
