为什么在linux redhat上启动Active MQ 5.6.0服务后需要重启系统？

我已经在linux中使用以下步骤创建了一个activemq服务。

# ln –s /home/STI/SIServer/apache-activemq-5.6.0/bin/linux-x86-64/activemq \
    /etc/init.d/activemq
# chkconfig –add activemq

已通过以下命令启动activemq服务：

# chkconfig activemq on

但我需要重启系统才能使activemq正常工作。

此外，通过使用#chkconfig activemq off停止服务，服务不会停止。我需要强行杀死activemq的pid。

请提供输入，我如何解决此问题。

chkconfig只控制服务的运行级别，它不会启动服务。使用service activemq start启动它，使用service activemq stop停止它。
