假设您设置了PATH，以便/usr/local/bin优先于/usr/bin。您可以运行git --version并从/usr/bin/git获取版本。

然后构建一个较新的Git并将其安装到/usr/local/bin中。您再次运行git --version，并期望这一次当shell搜索您的PATH时，它将首先找到/usr/local/bin/git并运行它。

但它可能不会，因为出于性能考虑，大多数shell(包括bash )都有一个命令缓存，它们使用该缓存来避免每次输入命令时都要重新搜索PATH。一旦命令在缓存中，那么下一次shell就不再搜索它了。它只是使用上一次找到的相同命令。

要解决这个问题，您可以运行hash -r来告诉shell忘记它的内部缓存，或者您可以退出shell并启动一个新的缓存(缓存只在内存中:它不会在shell的调用之间持久存在)。
