CDC network architecture

CDC network architecture description:

• Internal physical networking: two access switches are used to complete the interconnection and networking requirements of all internal physical servers

• Interconnection with customer local IDC: two access switches support access to customer core switches, and interoperate with other business systems of customer local IDC through core switches

• Control and management uplink: CDC internal control services access Tencent Cloud network access points through customer core switches, and finally access Tencent Cloud Center availability zone, with VPN used in the middle to ensure the trustworthiness of both parties

• Public network access/service: access and service exposure of CDC cloud servers to the public network are achieved through customer local gateways or EIPs.

Virtual network architecture

• Dual network attributes: cloud resources in CDC have both customer intranet IP and VPC IP, and have the ability to communicate with local networks and interoperate within cloud networks

• CDC internal cloud resources and local devices: interoperate through customer intranet

• CDC internal cloud resources and cloud resources on the cloud: interoperate through VPC networks

cross-cloud networking

Our on premise solution can interoperate with on premise solution from other cloud venders managed from a common L3 control plane. An example would be some of our customer has an existing IAAS platform providing VPC network and VM resources that our on premise solution to run on top of. Our on premise solution can generate container workloads that run on the underlying network, and trigger cluster autoscaling to automatically add nodes to our container cluster.
